FlipTheScript is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with rare congenital conditions that lead to low vision, surface deterioration of the eye, and extreme light sensitivity. Founded by patients, for patients, our mission is to offer emotional, mental, and financial support to those navigating the path toward healthier eyes and improved vision.
We are different from other nonprofit organizations serving the blind and visually impaired. While many groups focus either on helping individuals adapt to their current condition or on advancing research for future treatments, our mission is to flip the script.
We aim to improve the present. Our focus is on empowering individuals living with debilitating eye conditions to achieve healthier eyes and better vision now. While it's important to learn to adapt and to support long-term scientific advancements, the pursuit of immediate, tangible improvements in sight and comfort should not be overlooked.
